Scare up some Halloween fun at NAU

Something wicked and fun this way comes as Halloween-themed celebrations begin this weekend.

Residence Life hosts its 16th annual Halloween Extravaganza
for children of NAU students, faculty and staff from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the du Bois Ballroom.

Student clubs will provide activities for children of all ages. Admission is free.

For information, contact Veronica Cooley at (928) 864-1001.

Scary twists and horrifying turns await visitors at this year’s haunted house presented by Taylor Hall. The annual event is open from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Oct. 26, through Sunday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the NAU Fieldhouse.

The haunted house offers a separate, child-friendly guided tour.

Admission is free for NAU students, employees and children ages 6 and younger. General admission is $4.

The Taylor Hall Haunted House, a long-standing student tradition at NAU, drew more than 1,500 participants last year. Students from all over campus participate in the planning and construction of the temporary haunted house.

For information, contact Tim Bonson, graduate hall director for Taylor Hall, at (928) 523-5867.
