Shuttle service launches Rapid Ride

An express route has opened up on NAU's Flagstaff campus.

Parking and Shuttle Services has launched Rapid Ride, a new shuttle route limited to three stops to minimize traveler wait and ride time. The route addition is in response to campus shuttle service averaging more than 40,000 riders per week last fall.

The route runs north from the bus stop at the Social and Behavioral Sciences building, stops at the University Union and again on the corner of Knoles Ave. and Tormey Ave. behind Old Main.

Service runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an average wait time of five minutes between shuttles.
