Flagstaff Fandango celebrates state centennial, features local flavor

Flagstaff’s own Burnett Family Bluegrass, as featured above on Arizona Highways TV last year, will perform at the Northern Arizona Centennial Fandango Feb. 4.

Celebrate Arizona's 100 years of statehood and get down to the sounds of a local bluegrass band at the Northern Arizona Centennial Fandango from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Radisson Woodlands Hotel in Flagstaff.

Hosted by the Northern Arizona Centennial Fandango committee, the event includes presentations by longtime community leader and business owner Jim Babbitt and NAU alumna and author Lisa Schnebly Heidinger.

Entry to the event includes hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and a musical performance by Burnett Family Bluegrass.

Tickets are $20 per person and attendees are encouraged to dress in period costume. Tickets may be purchased online or at Rainbow’s End, 12 E. Rt. 66, Ste. 101 in Flagstaff.
