Lecture to discuss link between alcohol consumption and violence

Jackson Katz, author, filmmaker and social theorist, will visit NAU to discuss the link between alcohol consumption and sexual assault and gender violence at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Prochnow Auditorium. 

Tickets are free and may be picked up at the door on the night of the event or by calling NAU’s Central Ticketing Office at (928) 523-5661.

The lecture is sponsored by the NAU Department of Women's and Gender Studies and the Student Activities Council, the Arizona Department of Health Services, Northland Family Help Center, the Men Against Rape and Sexism Project and several local businesses.
