Experience the vibrant cultures represented at Northern Arizona University
and the Flagstaff community


A true community partnership, this week-long event will bring together a variety of cultures from the university and community through international dinners, entertainment, exhibitions, films, Pub Night at Charly’s, displays, booths and music at venues on the NAU campus and locations in Flagstaff.

A final celebration will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006, at the Northern Arizona University du Bois Center Ballroom with booths, displays, activities, crafts, and music and dance performances representing the NAU international students and Flagstaff organizations such as the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society and Flagstaff Sister Cities International.

years include the Montreal Protocol (ozone) and the Kyoto Protocol (global
warming). Many ask why agreement was easier for ozone than for global
warming. This talk will focus on the differences between the two issues that
impacted the ease of agreement. In addition, it has recently been suggested
that the implementation of the Montreal Protocol may actually be contributing
to global warming. This controversy will be explored throughout the
