Dennis Wall

Dennis Wall Dennis Wall has been ITEPís editor since May of 1998. His work at ITEP includes producing Native Voices, the instituteís quarterly newsletter, and editing/assembling training material for our air and climate-change courses. For many years before joining the ITEP staff, Dennis made a living as a freelance writer, producing hundreds of articles and photos for magazines and newspapers including Popular Science, Southwest Art, the Nissan Travel Guide, New Mexico Magazine, New Mexico Business Journal, Third Coast, and many more. His guide to the ecology of federal refuges, Western National Wildlife Refuges: 36 Ecological Havens from California to Texas, was published in 1995 by the Museum of New Mexico Press.

Dennis has worked as a technical editor for Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico and as a writer-editor with a publishing firm in Indiana. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in English from Northern Arizona University. His leisure activities include fiction writing, birding, exploring nature, and traveling. Dennis shares a home with his wife and two children, along with goats, chickens, and assorted furred, finned and feathered critters.
