Lydia Scheer
Lydia Scheer has worked with ITEP's American
Indian Air Quality Training Program since July 1998. She started out as a student assistant while completing her BA in Anthropology
at Northern Arizona University and joined ITEP's regular staff in 1999. Her primary responsibilities at ITEP include coordination
of the annual National Tribal Forum on Air Quality, and managing the Professional Assistance Program, which assists tribes with
getting specialized assistance for their air quality training needs. Additionally, Lydia helps coordinate and develop ITEP's air
quality training courses, manages ITEP's environmental resource database as well as a database of tribal environmental contacts
and training history, and responds to inquiries and requests for information and assistance from tribes and other entities regarding
ITEP's programs and services.
