American Indian Air Quality Training Program (AIAQTP)::
The American Indian Air Quality Training Program provides training courses for tribal environmental staff all over
the United States, including Alaska. The AIAQTP has several core training courses, which are offered at least once
every year. We also offer specialty trainings as well as develop new courses to meet the demands of the tribal air
quality community.

AIAQTP Mission Statement:
The American Indian Air Quality Training Program seeks to fulfill the mandate of the 1990 Clean Air Act to offer Native
American tribes full partnership in the management of air quality on Tribal lands, and to recognize that any training
program provided to Native Americans must be sensitive to their cultural heritage.
AIAQTP Goals:
• Assist in the building of tribal capacity for air quality management
• Provide high-quality, up-to-date training that is immediately relevant to tribes
• Enhance communication skills to promote collaboration and networking
Questions or Feedback:
The AIAQTP relies heavily on tribal input and participation for the development of course content, and other
services for tribal environmental professionals. If you would like to provide input or ask a question, please
use our AIAQTP Feedback Form.
