How do I request Professional Assistance?

What are the requirements for receiving Professional Assistance?
  1. Applicants that have successfully completed two of ITEP's training courses

  2. Applicants must work for a tribal environmental department (federally-recognized)

  3. Applicants must complete an application form and receive approval from both the applicant's supervisor and ITEP's Professional Assistance Program Coordinator

  4. Upon completion of the training, participants are expected to return a completed evaluation report before reimbursement of travel expenses can be issued.
How much does it cost?
ITEP may be able to offer financial support to participants for lodging and meals, however travel to/from the training location will be the responsibility of the participant. The participant's employer is responsible for his/her salary as well as additional expenses not covered by ITEP.
