Types of Professional Assistance::
Professional Internships
The PA program will help arrange a one to five-day air quality internship placement with a suitable tribal, federal, state, or local air quality office where the participant will train under the direction of an experienced professional on topics identified by the applicant. ITEP will work closely with each candidate to arrange a placement in an office that can provide the substantive experience and working environment appropriate for the participant.

Individual Assistance:
ITEP, tribal, or other technical staff can travel to a tribal site to provide individualized assistance. Training can occur at the tribal site or another centralized location. ITEP can occasionally provide financial assistance to attend another training organization or technical conference.
Group Assistance:
Specialized training can be provided to a group of qualified individuals when a need has been determined. The group can consist of multiple people from a single tribe, or representatives from other tribes. Training can occur at the tribal site or another centralized location. Availability of training opportunities depends on available funding.
