Tribal Air Mentors Network::
ITEP has developed a database for tribal professionals working with air quality issues. This database lists the names, tribes, and expertise of a growing number of tribal professionals who are willing to help their colleagues in Indian Country.
Do you have questions about setting up a new PM2.5 monitor? Are you looking for new ideas on convincing tribal members to stop using burn barrels? Have you run into some problems trying to complete an EI?
All you need to do is contact Lydia Scheer at Lydia.Scheer@nau, or 928/523-6887 and we will put you in touch with another tribal professional who has faced, and conquered, the same problems with which you are struggling.
Do you have skills and experiences you would like to share with your colleagues in tribal air programs? If so, we would like for you to consider becoming part of our Tribal Air Mentors Network. All you need to do is fill out the Mentor Application Packet and send it to:
Lydia Scheer, Professional Assistance
PO Box 15004
Flagstaff, AZ 86011
Lydia.Scheer@nau.edu
By becoming a mentor to other tribal professionals you will be able to share your strengths and knowledge with others throughout Indian Country. It is an excellent opportunity to assist others engaged in the struggle to protect our tribal air resources.
