TEISS Online Course Information

User information

This TEISS Web Training is available to be used in two ways:

  1. Anyone can browse through the lessons at any time, as a refresher on how to use TEISS. You can skip around in the lessons and visit just the ones that apply to what you are currently working on. When you are browsing the TEISS Web Training, you can post messages to the bulletin and even fax in assignments if you choose to. However, ITEP will not have a staff person assigned to immediately respond to you, so it may take a while for us to get back to you.
  2. Register for the TEISS Web Training during the formal training dates, go through the complete training, and receive a certificate when you are finished.

ITEP will be offering this web training formally on the following dates:

Over the two week period from June 19 - 30, 2006
Over the two week period from September 18 - 29, 2006

If you want to take the training during those two weeks, you will need to register with ITEP. You will receive a username and password so you can log into the site. During these times, an ITEP staff person will be regularly checking the bulletin board and will be available to review and give feedback on the turned in exercises. If you register and complete all the Turn-In assignments during the above dates, you will get a certificate of completion for the training.

This course will take you approximately 16 to 24 hours to complete if you go through all the lessons in order and do all of the exercises.

There are many pages in this Web Training that contain images that may download slowly if you are using a home computer or a slow internet connection. We recommend that you use a computer with the fastest internet connection that you have available while working through this Web Training.

The development of this web training was funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards.
