11.1 - TEISS Unit Converter

TEISS has a handy unit converter utility built into it to help you convert units when needed. It acts as a calculator that already has unit conversions built in.

You access the unit converter through the Tools, then Unit Converter menu.

When you select Unit Converter the utility opens.

First select what conversion category you need.
For an example, let's say someone gave you a distance in kilometers, but you need to convert that to miles because that is what you are used to. First, click on Distance. Then select kilometers from the Unit Conversion Input list. Type in the number kilometers that you want to convert to miles. Then select miles from the Unit Conversion Output list. The number of miles will appear in the grey shaded box.
