New Name for Information Systems Training Team

The Information Systems Technology Training team (ISTT) has formally changed its name to Learning & Professional Development. Our new name reflects a change in philosophy that mirrors a trend in workplace learning away from traditional staff training towards a more learner-focused, competency-based approach.

We are designing a new virtual learning center that presents not only options for formal classes, consulting, and online learning, but also encourages new ways to network in order to help each other learn through social media. Our goal is self-directed learning through specific learning materials when staff and faculty need it, and in the form that they prefer. Our address is nau.edu/its/lpd

One of our first small steps in this direction is our new Twitter account. Please follow us for information about our services and other useful tips.
