NAU faculty and staff may be given access to dial into the University modem pool using the 800 number while traveling on university business.

The NAU department or college must submit the request for the person to have access to 800PPP on a MAC form (move,add,change). The request should include the name of the faculty/staff person, the person's jan user ID, and the agency/orgn that the usage charges will be billed to.

Once the MAC form is received, the faculty/staff person will be notified and given the number to dial into while traveling.

10 cents per minute

Access Area:

800PPP can be accessed from any location in the United States and Canada. 800PPP access will not work in Mexico or any other international location.

Toll free access to the modem pool will only work if you have been given access, and will only work outside of the local Flagstaff calling area.

Under "Faculty/Staff Dial-Up NAU" select the appropriate instructions to set up your machine to connect to the internet. If you have been programmed for the 800PPP, you will insert the 800# given to you rather than 523-4966.
