communications sent to the web server from users are secure
and encrypted.

Nau Auth - Ability to use NAU authentication services
to ensure your website is viewed only by authorized personnel.

provide connectivity to Oracle databases - available only on

The IIS servers are oak,

www4, and www4dev. Oak is
used for faculty and staff personal accounts; pine is

to create, test, and refine a website; pages on www4dev are
not intended to be available to the general Internet public, although
it is still the developer's responsibility to secure the web
pages if they contain sensitive data.
When the website is completed, it is then published to www4;
pages on www4 are open to the whole Internet. If you would
like to request an account, use the online
form.
