If financial circumstances have changed during the 2008 tax year
Given the state of the economy, the Office of Financial Aid encourages your student to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for college financial assistance.

The 2009-2010 FAFSA is now available. In order to complete the application, you and your student will need your financial information from the 2008 tax year.

If your student has completed the FAFSA in the past, you may complete the Renewal FAFSA using your personal identification number (PIN). If this is your student’s first time applying, you and your student will need to obtain a PIN prior to completing the FAFSA.

If financial circumstances have changed during the 2008 tax year, please contact our office after completing your FAFSA and speak with a representative regarding your particular circumstance.

Student Health Tip

Three tips for fitness success in the new year
1. Follow a moderate low-fat diet and an exercise program that combines aerobic activity and strength training. That's the key to losing weight and keeping it off!

2. Begin slowly with exercises you find comfortable and build as your body becomes accustomed to the activity level.

3. Don't start out too hard or too fast. Chances are you may injure yourself or quit before you've done yourself much good.

And remember, you can't lose weight overnight! These tips brought to you by Campus Recreation Services.
