Sandra Kowalski
Director
Sandra leads the University Marketing and Printing Services departments in support of the university's business goals.
She joined Northern Arizona University in 2003 to lead the marketing efforts of the campus auxiliary departments.
Prior to joining the university, Sandra led global marketing teams and corporate marketing departments for firms in the financial services and information technology industries. She also worked as a stockbroker.
Sandra serves as a member of the Media Services/Public Relations committee of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services.
She earned an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS in Education from the University of Connecticut.
Pam Ramos
Marketing Consultant
Pam assists in the development, implementation, and measurement of marketing programs that support the objectives of university departments.
She joined NAU after serving as Director of Marketing for Sodexho, USA, the dining services provider at the university.
Pam has worked in the marketing, public relations, and community relations fields for more than ten years.
She is a graduate of NAU with a BS in Public Relations and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for the School of Communication.

Jeff Dillon
Web Applications Analyst Sr.
Jeff manages the University home page and top-level pages. He also maintains the campus Calendar of Events and the university photo gallery.
As project manager for the ActiveCampus (LiquidMatrix) web project, Jeff helped transform our web site to a cleaner format with more dynamic applications. He provides training and support for the university Content Management System.
Jeff's career began as the Marketing Director for a regional building products distributor/retailer based in Flagstaff. In 1996, he and partners founded Canyon Web Works, a local web development and hosting company. After selling the business in 2000, Jeff came to the university as a Web Applications Analyst, senior.
Jeff earned a Master of Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from NAU.

Rensu Yang
Senior Graphic Designer
Rensu consults with clients to develop creative designs that resonate with their target audiences, and support and promote the university's visual identity.
She joined the university in 2007 after earning her Master of Science in Design in Graphic Design/Visual Communication from Arizona State University.
As a freelance designer, Rensu created original artwork for corporate communication and promotional design for clients including Samsung Mobile, OO Entertainment, and Front Network Technology. In Beijing, she developed package designs, logo designs, television advertisements, and graphic identity systems for clients including the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum, the China National Bee Museum, and Beijing Jun Ying Property Management Co. In addition to graphic design, Rensu is an accomplished artist.
Rensu holds a BS in Advertising from the Institute of Communication and Art at Beijing Technology & Business University and an MSD in Graphic Design/Visual Communication from Arizona State University.

Jason Bullard
Marketing Photographer
Jason is University Marketing's photographer. His images are used for university web banners, brochures, pamphlets, and advertisements. He photographs students and faculty members for portraits. He also shoots sporting events, award presentations, campus social occasions, and other photo needs for many campus departments. He recently graduated summa cum laude from NAU with a Bachelor of Science in Photography.

Wendy Tajc
Business Manager
Wendy is the business manager for NAU Printing Services and University Marketing.
She assists in preparing and monitoring budgets and manages billing, payables, payroll, and prepares monthly financial special financial reports. In addition, Wendy supervises student workers and interns assigned to perform accounting tasks.
In 1984, Wendy completed her BSBA in accounting from The University of Arizona with distinctive honors. In 1986, she received her CPA certification.
Prior to moving to Flagstaff, Wendy was an internal auditor and accountant for the City of Tucson for seven years.
Wendy helped establish the first parent-organized charter school in Arizona and served on the school's Board of Directors for three years. During that time, she managed all finances and accounting for both the charter school and a European auto repair shop.
Wendy has been with NAU since 2004.

Julie Ward
Marketing Consultant
Julie creates and executes online marketing strategies and partners with university departments to conceptualize, recommend, and manage the development of projects.
Prior to working in University Marketing, Julie was a web designer and content manager for the NAU Alumni Association web site. She is experienced in writing and editing for the web, creating online forms, and designing graphics for online use.
Julie has held various jobs in radio and television in Albuquerque, NM. She has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of New Mexico.

Kathy Maloney
Marketing Consultant
Kathy researches and develops advertising strategies for NAU’s main campus. She also partners with college and department staff to conceptualize and develop marketing projects.
Kathy has worked more than 12 years as a marketing director and general manager for non-profit performing arts organizations.
Prior to joining NAU’s marketing team, Kathy was a freelance marketing consultant, assisting new and established businesses with messaging, advertising and overall branding.
She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut majoring in both history and music.

Holly Troy
Administrative Assistant
Holly is the first point of contact for University Marketing and Printing Services. She manages the office and assists in general operations of marketing -- including travel planning and budget, central communications, photo gallery maintenance, tech support, payroll, and support on various projects.
In 2004, Holly graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Art and Creative Writing from the City University of New York at Hunter College. While in New York, she continued her studies in writing at the Poetry Project.
Prior to moving to Flagstaff and working for NAU, she was an executive assistant for an Australian investment bank for over three years.
Holly’s creative work has led her to freelancing as a writer for Cosmopolitan Magazine as well as smaller presses, designing album and CD covers for independent record labels, and doing voice-over work.
