Sandra Kowalski
Director
Sandra leads the University Marketing and Printing Services departments at Northern Arizona University. She joined the university in 2003 to lead the marketing efforts of the campus auxiliary departments.
Prior to joining the university, Sandra led headquarters marketing departments for global firms in the information technology and financial services industries, including International Data Corporation, TowerGroup, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
She has lead corporate branding and rebranding programs; public relations, graphic design, writing, web, product launch, and company event teams; corporate and internal communications; and sales partner programs.
Sandra serves as a member of the Media Services/Public Relations committee of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services.
She earned an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS in Education from the University of Connecticut.
Pam Ramos
Marketing Consultant
Pam assists in the development, implementation, and measurement of marketing programs that support the objectives of university departments.
She joined NAU after serving as Director of Marketing for Sodexho, USA, the dining services provider at the university.
Pam has worked in the marketing, public relations, and community relations fields for more than ten years.
She is a graduate of NAU with a BS in Public Relations and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for the School of Communication.

Rensu Yang
Senior Graphic Designer
Rensu consults with clients to develop creative designs that resonate with their target audiences, and support and promote the university's visual identity.
She joined the university in 2007 after earning her Master of Science in Design in Graphic Design/Visual Communication from Arizona State University.
As a freelance designer, Rensu created original artwork for corporate communication and promotional design for clients including Samsung Mobile, OO Entertainment, and Front Network Technology. In Beijing, she developed package designs, logo designs, television advertisements, and graphic identity systems for clients including the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum, the China National Bee Museum, and Beijing Jun Ying Property Management Co. In addition to graphic design, Rensu is an accomplished artist.
Rensu holds a BS in Advertising from the Institute of Communication and Art at Beijing Technology & Business University and an MSD in Graphic Design/Visual Communication from Arizona State University.

Wendy Tajc
Business Manager
Wendy is the business manager for NAU Printing Services and University Marketing.
She assists in preparing and monitoring budgets and manages billing, payables, payroll, and prepares monthly financial special financial reports. In addition, Wendy supervises student workers and interns assigned to perform accounting tasks.
In 1984, Wendy completed her BSBA in accounting from The University of Arizona with distinctive honors. In 1986, she received her CPA certification.
Prior to moving to Flagstaff, Wendy was an internal auditor and accountant for the City of Tucson for seven years.
Wendy helped establish the first parent-organized charter school in Arizona and served on the school's Board of Directors for three years. During that time, she managed all finances and accounting for both the charter school and a European auto repair shop.
Wendy has been with NAU since 2004.

Kathy Maloney
Marketing Consultant
Kathy researches and develops advertising strategies for NAU’s main campus. She also partners with college and department staff to conceptualize and develop marketing projects.
Kathy has worked more than 12 years as a marketing director and general manager for non-profit performing arts organizations.
Prior to joining NAU’s marketing team, Kathy was a freelance marketing consultant, assisting new and established businesses with messaging, advertising and overall branding.
She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut majoring in both history and music.

Autumn Klinikowski
Marketing Consultant
Autumn communicates with campus departments to develop successful marketing campaigns that deliver the university's message to northern Arizona communities. She helps to coordinate and implement the marketing goals for the Graduate School and the College of Education. As a representative for the Office of Community Relations, she helps to promote the interconnections between the university and the Flagstaff community.
Autumn moved to Flagstaff from Prescott, Arizona where she served as marketing director for the Prescott YMCA. She spearheaded a successful marketing campaign in 2007 to raise funds for a large facility expansion project to promote youth and family programs at the Y. In addition, she wrote freelance articles for local newspapers and magazines. She has taught undergraduate composition courses at Yavapai Community College and Oregon State University.
Autumn received an MA in English Literature from Oregon State University with a focus on early modern English literature.

Trey McCallie
Web Analyst, Lead
Trey serves as the university webmaster and manages the university web presence. He leads the Strategic Web Committee and is responsible for guiding the development of the university's web strategy -- incorporating new technologies and marketing tools. He manages and supports the Content Management System (CMS) as well as the university’s brand in all aspects of electronic communication.
He has worked in higher education for more than 12 years with experience at regional universities, research universities, university systems, and state agencies. He has a background in web development, distance learning, and content management initiatives. He has worked as a freelance web developer for more than a decade.
Trey previously served as Director of Distance Learning and Information Technology for the Texas A&M University System and Manager of Curriculum Services for the Texas Engineering Extension Service. In these positions he lead strategic content management initiatives in support of website, online learning, and print-based content development and management.
He earned a BS in Education (Composite Science) and an MEd in Instructional Technology from West Texas A&M University.

Rachel Olson
Program Coordinator
Rachel reviews artwork created throughout campus and consults with designers to ensure compliance with the graphic identity standards of the university. She also supports the marketing photography process and manages the online photo gallery.
She was employed as a student designer for the Printing Services department for three years during her undergraduate career at NAU. After receiving a BFA in Visual Communication with an emphasis in graphic design in spring 2008, Rachel joined the full-time staff at Printing Services as a customer consultant. In June 2009, she transferred to the Marketing department.
