Teacher Industry Update Program

Career and Technical Educators (CTE) and Academic teachers who work cooperatively with CTE teachers and/or students, counselors responsible for the career guidance of  CTE students, and administrators working with CTE teachers and programs have the opportunity to participate in an Industry Update Program in business and industry.  A focused, intensive training plan will guide educators through hands-on, on-site updating in an occupationally-appropriate business or industry.  Major emphasis will be placed on experiences in new technology and on innovations in the workforce that are consistent with Career and Technical Education Comprehensive Programs.

Industry Update Experiences can be scheduled during school breaks, summer, and weekends at industry locations around the state. There is no registration fee, but you must complete an application.  Participants may participate for up to 80 hours and may be eligible for stipends up to $1000.
