Welcome
The Wall Aquatic Center is one of the finest high altitude swimming facilities anywhere in the world.
The aquatic center houses an Olympic-size pool, complete with eight 50-meter lanes, two 1-meter and two
3-meter diving boards, underwater viewing and filming windows, and state-of-the-art aquatics technology.
There is also an instruction/therapy shallow area, a weight room and classroom. The pool ranges in depth
from three feet to 13 feet and holds 704,000 gallons of water. The spectator area has a capacity of 350
spectators.
The purpose of the NAU Wall Aquatic Center is to complement the mission of the University by providing
aquatic programs and related activities that serve the students, faculty and staff of NAU, and the community.
The first concern of the Wall Aquatic Center is safety and this concern supersedes all other elements of
operation. We achieve our superior safety record by hiring
only the most qualified and dedicated staff.
