NNAD's MISSION
The Navajo Nation Archaeology Department (NNAD) is an agency of the Navajo Nation government. NNAD is dedicated to providing cultural resource management services to its clients at a reasonable cost, while preserving and protecting the precious cultural heritage of the Navajo people - the Diné - for the benefit of future generations

We are located on the Northern Arizona University Campus in the Bilby Research Center, Flagstaff, Arizona. Our department provide archaeological services to the Navajo Western Agency. We also accept projects off the reservation via partnership with the CPCESU. NNAD-NAU also provides student training to Navajo and Native American NAU students in the fields of Archaeology and Anthropology.
