Degree Options for Oboe Students

• Bachelor of Music in Performance: Prepares students for performing and private teaching opportunities.
• Bachelor in Music Instrumental Education: Prepares students to teach K-12 public schools while developing excellence as performers.
• Bachelor of Arts: Allows students to pursue a music degree and either a major in another field or one or two minors in other fields.
• Music Minor: Students take basic music classes and study oboe when there is room in the studio.
• Non music majors: May audition for the studio but will only be allowed to study if there is room in the studio.

All students must audition for the professor to study in the oboe studio.
