Get Involved: Pathways To Success In Strategic Planning
Last year the university community collaboratively developed a comprehensive strategic plan—Passport to Global Learning, Discovery, and Engagement that serves as a framework for the university’s activities. Every year the university decides on a set of near-term priorities and submits a request for funding to the Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting. These near-term priorities are by no means the only initiatives the university focuses on but they are identified as important to address some of Arizona’s most pressing issues. Please read the document outlining the fiscal year 2009 priorities and provide your comments below or send an email to Eva.Hatchner@nau.edu. Your feedback on these priorities will inform the strategic planning for the fiscal year 2010.

Fiscal Year 2009 Priorities:
  • Faculty and Staff Salaries
  • Flagstaff Campus Facilities
  • Health Care Education for Arizona
  • Serving Rural Arizona
  • Economic Development, Workforce Education, and Research
