Undergraduate Retention and Cohort Graduation Analysis for Yuma
Extract Date:  02/09/2012

This information is a snapshot of all students assigned to a cohort since 1994 (First time Freshmen, New Lower Division Transfer and New Upper Division Transfer).  It is important to note that degrees earned are still being posted from previous semesters, and therefore the numbers for degrees earned may also change slightly due to daily updates.

Note: The program/plan used in cohort reporting and assignments is the program/plan in effect on the day the cohort process is run. (The cohort process is run immediately after the census process each fall and spring term.) This program/plan is the closest we have to a census-day major, which is what is needed for cohort reporting for IPEDS.

The process that NAU uses for Undergraduate Retention has changed. Retention data has been restated from Fall 2003 (the semester when NAU changed its Student Information System to PeopleSoft) to the present. Therefore, when comparing data between semesters prior to Fall 2003 with data for Fall 2003 and later, a slight difference in the retention may be noticeable. This is due to the systematic change in the retention procedure.
