As part of NAU’s master plan to become a more pedestrian-friendly campus by closing some surface parking and adding green space, on-campus parking continues to evolve. Most parking permit prices have increased for the 2008-09 year as part of the tiered-increase proposal adopted three years ago. Some prices for parking regulation violations have increased as well.

Mountain Campus Transit (MCT)is involved in a short-term experiment. Starting August 25 and for up to two months the university has chartered six extra shuttle buses from the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD). During the hours of 9am and 5pm students will have better service during class changes between north and south campus. This shuttle service is in addition to the MCT Express Van service which runs between the Social and Behavioral Sciences bus stop and the Adel Math bus stop. These services are to help address the demand at the SBS/W.A. Franke bus stop. While these buses may look different, getting around campus will be as easy as ever!
