OFFICERS AND CIVILIAN EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Each year, one officer and one civilian employee are selected to receive this award. It is awarded to members demonstrating consistent high quality and professional service, while furthering community policing concepts and achievement of department and university goals, within the previous 12 months. Some of the criteria that are considered in selecting an individual are maintenance of professional conduct, one who leads by example, motivation and encouragement of others, and an active and successful teacher and guide to other employees.
