The following services may be obtained at the Northern Arizona University Police Department:

Safety Escort: Police Officers and University Safety Aides are available to accompany you to desired locations on campus. If you would like an escort, please call 523-3611.

Fingerprinting: Spring 2012 fingerprinting is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Police Department, building 98A. Cost $5.00. You must supply your own fingerprint card. (Please bring correct change if possible, or checks accepted, NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED). If you have any questions, please call 523-3611.

ATTENTION EDUCATION STUDENTS

Effective January 1, 2009, any person coming in to get their fingerprints taken for teaching must have the following:

1. Completed Application
2. Money Order or Cashier’s Check made out to:
   * Department of Public Safety (DPS)
   * Money order should be worth $69.00 for paid employees
   * Money order should be worth $61.00 for volunteers
3. The blue pre-stamped envelope
4. State issued ID or Passport
5. $5.00 for NAUPD fee

(Cash or Check)
We will NOT fingerprint you without these items.

 

Effective January 1, 2008, any person coming in to get their fingerprints for teaching must bring the following:

FEE: $6.00

American Eagle Security

Monday - Friday 8a.m. - 4p.m.
FEE: $6.50 (cash only)

Reports: The costs for copies of reports are as follow:

NAU students/employees - $.25 per page for reports 10 pages or less. $5.00 for reports 11 to 30 pages, then .25 cents per page. (No maximum charge).

All other requesting parties - $5.00 for 30 pages or less, then .25 cents per page. (No maximum charge)

Scanned copies of photos - $1.00 per photo

Reproduction of audio/video recordings - $25.00 per item

RECORDS REQUEST FORM (downloadable form)

You may download a copy of the Police Records Release Request form, fill out, and fax or mail to the address listed on form. * A mailed request for a copy of a Police report must include payment.

Car Seat Inspections - Free car seat inspections. Please call 523-3611 to schedule and appointment with one of our Child Protective Seat Technicians.
