The NAU Community Music and Dance Academy offers instruction in music and dance for the Northern Arizona Region. All of our instructors are experienced educators and performers in their area of specialty, including NAU undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff, and local professionals. Music lessons are available at all skill and age levels for most orchestral and band instruments, piano, voice, and guitar. Dance classes include ballet, jazz, and tap for ages 4 through adult.
To avoid a late registration fee, all Fall Music and Dance Registrations must be at least 50% paid on or before Saturday, August 30th.
The Academy Dance Division offers instruction each semester for various
age groups in ballet, jazz and tap. Our certified ballet instructors follow the world-renowned Royal Academy of
Dance method beginning at the Primary class level.
The Academy Music Division offers private instruction for most
instruments and vocal areas. Suzuki string lessons and group classes are available, as well. Students enrolled in
private instruction are encouraged to participate in recitals and performance opportunities each semester.
