NAU's Sustainability Commitment
Stewardship of place is an important, continuing concept for Northern Arizona University. Sustainability and "green" practices are found throughout campus, both in curriculum and application. NAU is home to the Platinum-rated Applied Research and Development building as well as the Gold-rated business and engineering buildings.
President Haeger is one of the charter signatories of the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment, created as an avenue for university leaders to define and address the challenges of climate change.
