As part of a multi-year plan to upgrade student housing, the single-story cinder block housing in the heart of campus was torn down in 2005 to be replaced with modern, apartment style two-, three- and four-bedroom apartment units that are in such high demand.
The three-story, coed hall houses 444 students and features six buildings and a community center with a game and exercise room.
