Procurement Regulations

POLICY:

University procurements, regardless of funding source, will be made in accordance with applicable state statutes, federal regulations, Board of Regents' policies, and University policies. Purchasing Services will ensure policy compliance. The Director of Procurement has the central responsibility for establishing procedures and guidelines that will assist users in complying with procurement policies.

The Arizona Board of Regents is exempt from the provisions of the Arizona Procurement Code. State law, however, required the Board of Regents to adopt rules prescribing procurement policies and procedures that are substantially equivalent to those established for the State of Arizona. Therefore, the ABOR University Procurement Code was adopted.
