Responsibility and Authority for Selection

POLICY:

Purchasing Services is responsible for contracting with the best sources of supply for the University.

Requisitioners are encouraged to suggest sources of supply as a means of broadening the University’s vendor base. These suggested sources of supply will be considered in addition to those already qualified in Purchasing Services vendor file. The Director of Procurement, however, retains final authority and responsibility for the selection of a vendor.
