Morton
Hall

Morton is an all-female traditional hall located on North
Campus. The hall was built in the early days of NAU and houses
70 upper classmen. Each room is unique, and varies in size and
design.
Rooms are designated as singles, doubles, triples. Each semester, "Room-a-Rama" determines who will obtain the singles the following semester. The hall participates in different programs throughout the year. One annual program is "S'mores Night" when all of the North Campus halls get together and make s'mores. Each year the hall is involved in Homecoming and Mountain Fest (the carnival before Homecoming). Hall council is active in community service, and in the past the hall has raised money for Hope Cottage for battered women and children and Critter Crater Rescue Ranch for stray animals. Morton traditionally hosts programs such as "Parents Tea," Monthly Coffee Shops, "Senior Tea," "The Ugly RA Contest," and more. Morton also works with north campus to plan larger programs. Some of these "El Norte" programs include Halloween and Valentine's Dances, community service projects, barbecue's, and Progressive dinners.
