Residents can take advantage of in-hall tutoring and academic success workshops in the Resource Center, and can utilize the in-hall computer lab. The Office of Orientation, Transition, and Retention Services is also located in the Resource Center. These important and convenient resources, along with additional study rooms in the hall, allow Sechrist residents to connect with the campus and experience a smoother transition to college. The Sechrist staff is very active in planning social activities and educational opportunities for their residents. Hall Council, intramurals, and floor programs invite and encourage students to get involved from the first day they arrive on campus. Large hall programs allow residents to meet many people from all over the hall, while floor programs help build a strong and close-knit community on each floor. central-campus location close to academic buildings, dining
options, and campus activities, Sechrist is an exciting and
