SOUTH FAMILY APARTMENTS

South Family Apartments

South Family apartments are located on the south edge of campus. South Family Apartments are for families with children. It has two bedroom apartments including several larger two bedroom apartments. South Family offers personal, social and family involvement including the Community Development Association and the South Family BlockWatch Program. Social and educational activities are scheduled throughout the year. The staff is energetic and provides many opportunities for residents to get to know one another.

The complex features include playground equipment, a basketball court, laundry facilities, computer lab, and a community room.

Each apartment is furnished with a dinette table with four chairs, two dressers, range, fire extinguisher and smoke detector (refrigerators, carpeting and lamps not provided). Beds are available upon request for an additional charge. NOTE: University furniture in apartments may not be removed to accommodate personal furniture. Residents need to provide their own dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils and linens as necessary for homelike living.

The monthly rental rate includes gas, electricity, water, and garbage. Each apartment includes local telephone service. NAU's basic television cable service is included in rental rates. Specific areas of the complex are designated as smoke-free environment
