What is the Political Science Association?
The Political Science Association is open to any student interested in political issues. Students from all classes (freshman, sophomore, etc.) may join. You do not need to be a political science student to join, and there is not a GPA requirement. All that is needed is an interest in politics! Our mission is to promote discussion from all viewpoints on political topics.
What is Pi Sigma Alpha?
Pi Sigma Alpha is an upper division, specialized honor society for political science students. Membership is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students currently enrolled in programs of political science. Undergraduates need not be political science majors, but must have completed at least 10 credit hours in political science, including one upper division course, with no grade lower than a B average in those courses. They must have achieved an overall GPA placing them in the top one-third of their class (3.0). Graduate students must have completed 9 graduate credit hours in political science, with no grade lower than a B and be pursuing a degree in political science.
