| Abstract: |
The BLM contracted with the Social Research Laboratory (SRL) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) to conduct a national study of paleontology permit holders. The first phase of this study involved holding two focus groups with paleontology permit holders in the West. Information derived from the focus groups would subsequently be used to build a national evaluation instrument. The specific purpose of the two focus groups involved allowing permittees to define their experiences with the BLM paleontology permitting process using their own words. |
