BLACK STUDENT UNION (BSU)
The purpose of BSU is to encourage students to feel welcomed and important on campus.  We especially want minorities to feel accepted and proud of their ethnic background.  BSU offers opportunities to help out in the Flagstaff community as well as the NAU campus.  We remain very active on campus in addressing discriminatory actions.

(MOVIMIENTO ESTUDIANTIL CHICANO AZTLAN)
M.E.Ch.A is not just a Mexican organization.  The Term Chicano/a is a term based on educational, cultural, social, and political consciousness.  Therefore, it is grounded on a philosophy NOT a nationality.  M.E.Ch.A is inclusive of ALL RAZA (irrespective of nationality, sexual orientation, and gender) that strives for empowerment and liberation of our "gente" through higher education.
