SPECIAL INTEREST 2005-2006

Club President Advisor
BOTANY CLUB
http://jan.ucc.nau.edu/~plants-c/BotanyClub
Open to all members of the NAU community, the Botany club spends most of their time helping the Biology greenhouse technician maintain the teaching collection of live plants.  We also propagate plants for our own fall plant sale and Tri-Beta's spring plant sale.  The Botany club has donated most of our proceeds from fund raisers to purchasing new plants for the teaching greenhouse.  We have made trips to Southern California and Tuscan to visit special collections, talk to experts and acquire plants for the     teaching greenhouse.  We meet every Friday at 4:00pm - 6:00pm in the Biological Sciences, Teaching Greenhouse, Building 18A
