The Southwest Children's Literature Web Site is a collaborative project
between undergraduate and graduate students in education and library science
and Tucson-area students and their classroom teachers, teacher-librarians, and public librarians.

As part of their coursework, preservice teachers and graduate students have reviewed the books featured on this site and have reported children's responses. When possible, they have interviewed the books' authors and/or illustrators. This site is facilitated by Judi Moreillon, Ph.D., lead faculty for Northern Arizona University's Undergraduate Teacher Preparation Program in Tucson and adjunct assistant professor for the Department of Language, Reading and Culture, University of Arizona.
