TAMS Equipment Loans

The TAMS Center currently loans available equipment on a limited basis to tribes expressing a need for them. Typically, loans are for those special studies that require the loan of equipment for a year. The list of equipment is an assortment of support equipment and samplers that are available at the TAMS Center. Specific models, quantities, and length of time of loan would have to be discussed with the TAMS Center staff prior to execution of the loan.

Air Monitors Mini-Vols In general, we have sampling equipment for PM 2.5 and mini-vols available as well as equipment required to support these equipment. We also have indoor environmental quality investigative tools available for loan that are consistent with the tools presented by the ALAMN Health House Hands-On Indoor Air Quality Training for Tribal Air Professionals courses which was sponsored by the EPA in Las Vegas.

This is a no cost program but we do ask that all equipment and samplers that are borrowed be returned to the TAMS Center in similar condition in which it was originally delivered. The tribe that loaned the equipment or samplers will be responsible for repairing damage that may have been done. We make our best efforts to assure that all equipment and samplers are working properly prior to delivery of the equipment and samplers.

For further questions regarding our loan program, please call either Emilio Braganza at 702/784-8280 or Farshid Farsi at 702/784-8263. If you will be requesting PM 2.5 or mini-vol samplers and will require gravimetric laboratory support, please contact Robert Mosley at 702/784-8266 to discuss the possibility of acquiring this support.
