Customized Training
PCG employs a variety of methods to custom design communication training and courses for
your employees. We offer many delivery methods and credit options customized to your
specific needs and affording you maximum flexibility and benefit.

Training and courses on NAU's campus, in computer labs and classrooms.Distance delivered programs to your site via the Internet, Interactive Instructional TV, or Satellite TV.
Hybrid models: partly distance delivered and partly face-to-face.
Training at your site ranging from one day to as long as you need.
Workshops
PCG’s workshops are highly interactive, hands-on professional communications training, tailored to the needs of participants, and offered at convenient and flexible locations throughout Arizona. Workshops are held in hotels, convention centers, schools, universities, and government and business offices. Locations include, but are not limited to, Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria, Flagstaff, Tucson, Prescott, Kingman, Williams, and Lake Havasu. Participants in PCG’s one day workshops receive expert instruction by leaders in the fields of written and oral communication. Each participant receives an NAU certificate of completion, earned professional development hours, step-by-step course materials, and morning and afternoon refreshments. Workshop topics include, but are not limited to:
Writing reports for success
Effective team writing
Writing memos, letters, and email that get results
Business writing to meet organizational goals
Professional communication (oral and written) to win customers
Employee reviews-Writing and Responding to them
Participants are encouraged to bring working documents for critique, revision, and advice.

Project-Based

The Certificate in Professional Writing. For those interested in a longer, more intense study of professional and technical writing, the English Department at Northern Arizona University offers a Certificate in Professional Writing that requires the completion of six online graduate courses (18 credit hours) in professional writing. You must have an undergraduate degree, but it does not have to be in English. All courses are online and there is no residency requirement. See the Certificate in Professional Writing.
